What is Tapping?

Tapping, also known as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is a powerful holistic healing technique that has been proven to effectively resolve a range of issues. It is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology.

The basic Tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at hand - a fear, a worry, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that's bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body.

Tapping on these meridian endpoints, while verbally or mentally addressing the root cause of distress, sends a calming signal from the body to the brain, allowing you to feel relaxed and in control.

How Does it Work?

Tapping makes full use of the mind-body connection, acknowledging and integrating the concepts that physical pain, disease, and mental wellbeing are intricately connected to our emotional states.

When we tap with the fingertips on specific meridian endpoints of the body, while focusing on negative emotions or physical sensations, both the brain's limbic system and the body's energy system are engaged, encouraging a sense of safety and resolution.

Through tapping, we're able to calm the nervous system, rewire the brain to respond in healthier ways, and restore the body's balance of energy.

I have used a variety of tools, but I find this to be the most useful and versatile. I a matter of 5-12 minutes I am able to turn my thinking away from a negative or self-defeating direction. I use one of the many sow Educ meditation tools daily. Very calming.. and it’s effects follow me through the day. I highly recommend it, and have sent it yo others to try.

This app is much more than I expected it to be and I expected it to be pretty good! There is nothing missing. The guided tapping is so thorough. Due to this I have had quite a few revelations but because it’s tapping they feel empowering, not defeating. I can see myself using this app for years to come.

I’m shocked. I’m a pharmacist, and I am constantly reading about medications and medication trends in this day and time.
